Iran has grabbed the 2013 Freestyle Wrestling World Cup title after beating Russia 6-1 on the final day of the closely-watched tournament in Tehran.

On the first day of pool competition in the Freestyle World Cup, Iran beat the U.S. 6-1 at the sold-out Azadi Sports Complex. There were handshakes and hugs exchanged by the teams before the competition, but Iran dominated the bouts.
